Day 1
After I took a flight to London then Edinburgh and continued by coach and my hosts' car, I finally arrived in Dunfermline, the old capital of Scotland.
I spent the afternoon having tea with my hosts and taking a walk in the town centre's park.
In the meantime, I learnt that what is not inside the house is outwith the house, that it's a bad idea to use English brick to build houses in Scotland (as opposed to the Scottish brick) because the former doesnae tolerate Scottish winter, and that the type of food you can get from a takeaway shop is in fact a carry-out.

Miután elrepültem Londonba, majd Edinburgh-ba, és távolsági busszal valamint a fogadócsaládom kocsijában folytattam, megérkeztem Dunfermline-be, Skócia régi fővárosába.
A délutánt azzal töltöttem, hogy teáztam szállásadóimmal és tettem egy sétát a városközpontban található parkban.
Eközben megtudtam, hogy ami a házon kívül van, nem "outside"-dal, hanem "outwith"-del mondják, hogy nem jó ötlet angol téglából házat építeni Skóciában (a skót téglával szemben), hisz az előbbi nem bírja a skót telet, és hogy a "takeaway food" itt inkább "carry-out food".
